Welcome to Reception
Our team are :
29th March 2018
Good evening to you all!
We have had a very busy Holy Week. You will recall that we role-played Palm Sunday last Friday on the school playground. On Monday, we heard the story of The Last Supper and we shared bread and wine (blackcurrant juice!) which we learned was the body and blood of Christ. We all recognised that we too will share the body and blood of Christ when we make our First Holy Communion.
Yesterday, we visited The Stations Of The Cross in our Woodland Area with our 'Prayer Buddies' from Year 5 and shared biscuits and refreshments together. We are all now very familiar with The Stations Of The Cross and many of us have made our own book.
Today, as part of our liturgy, we all visited The Stations Of The Cross placed around our classroom to pray with our friends. Some of us had written our own prayers and we were able to share these with all our friends. Everyone was very prayerful and respectful; your children are of great credit to you and we are immensely proud of them all.
Thank you for all your support throughout this Spring Term, we wish you all an Easter filled with love, peace and joy and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 16th April.
