Welcome to Year 3!
Class 3Y Teacher: Miss Yarnold
Teaching Assistant: Mrs Tobin
LSA: Mrs Stephenson
We are so saddened by the recent news of the latest lockdown, which means we won’t see some of you in person for a while now. As your teachers, we are going to do everything we can to make sure you still see us, learn from us and receive our support. Please do not worry. We are all in this together and we will make the best out of this situation. Remember, positivity is the key to happiness. We wanted to share today’s reading (05.01.21) with you, which fits well with our current situation.
‘Are you a ‘glass half-full’ or a ‘glass half-empty’ kind of person.? Do you look on the bright side or the dark side? Can you see the good in any situation before you see the bad? Do we really have a choice? Faith teaches us that we do – we can strive after hope over despair, love over hate and light over darkness. In Christ, the cup isn’t half-empty or half-full but rather overflowing with God’s grace and goodness. God makes every blessing, every gift, every grace available to us. This is at the heart of the invitation of Jesus when he says: ‘Come, follow me!’ He leads us to the cup of life which is overflowing.’
From Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th January, you have some work to do at home. The work has been uploaded on this class page under, 'Home Learning 6th to 8th January.' You can choose to start on any activity and just try your best :-)
