On day one, I would like you to have a go at this arithmetic paper.

Do not worry about the time limit - take as long as you need. Perhaps change the colour of your pen when you reach 40 mins. 


I would then like you to mark your own answers using the Mark Scheme. Highlight areas of maths where you feel you need more help - we can look at these when we're back in school or one afternoon of your remote learning. Use your revision guide (or google!) to have another look over any topics you want to revise.



In maths, the average value in a set of numbers is the middle value, calculated by dividing the total of all the values by the number of values.


When we need to find the average of a set of data, we add up all the values and then divide this total by the number of values.
