This week I would like you to use the skill of 'Show not Tell'.
This is something we covered in school a few months ago.
‘Show not Tell’ is a technique authors use to add drama to a piece of writing. Rather than telling readers what’s happening, authors use this skill to show the events unfolding on the page. ‘Telling’ is often factual and avoids descriptive detail; while ‘showing,’ is really descriptive and much more interesting to read.
