GENERAL ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of the admissions arrangements below.
Main School
The Local Authority (SMBC) currently co-ordinates the formal application process for statutory school age children (Reception through to Year 6), please see link below or telephone 0121 704 6693.
Once an applications has been made please complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF). Proof of baptism should be attached to the SIF and sent to Mrs D Chambers, Officer Manager. Nursery applications are to be submitted directly to school - either by hand or

- Closing date for applications - Friday 12th December 2025
- Offers to be issued by school - Friday 23rd January 2026
- Deadline to accept or decline - Friday 30th January 2026
Please note:
Our Lady of the Wayside Nursery is full-time (30 hours per week) – 8.45am to 2.45pm
Notes regarding funding and additional hours above 30 hours per week;
· Core nursery hours are 8.45am to 2.45pm are free for those parents who receive 30-hour funding. Please check your eligibility by visiting: Free Childcare for Working Parents: Check if you're eligible - GOV.UK
· 8.30am drop off (8:30-8:45) would incur a charge of £1.50
· 3.30pm pick up (2:45-3:30) would incur a cost of £4.50
· Any parent who is not eligible for the 30-hour funding would be required to pay for the additional 15 hours a week at a rate of £6 per hour, which is £90 per week.

Children in Nursery bring their own packed lunch and there is free fresh fruit and vegetables available every day.

Reception applications are to be submitted directly to your home local authority. However, the supplementary information form and baptism certificate should be supplied to the school either by hand or
