On a termly basis, pupils in Year 1 to Year 6 will receive a pupil report card. These have been designed to keep parents up-to-date and well informed on their child’s attainment, and attitude to learning, in Maths and English. To support these judgements, parents are provided with detailed attainment statements and examples of activities used in school to teach and assess each of these statements. In addition, pupil report cards provide a general summary of a pupil’s achievments in the wider context of school life. Reports cards will be distributed just before parents’ evening. Parents’ evening provides an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s report card and the next steps in their learning journey.
